We are a nurturing school, and this ethos is reflected in all areas of school life as we foster relationships built on trust and respect. Ballycraigy is a safe place where everyone is valued and respected and feels a sense of belonging. We are proud of our uniqueness and how we provide high quality education and pastoral care for our full school family. All our children are included and accepted.

We want to inspire our pupils to have wide and varied aspirations. Through developing life skills we are preparing children for Ballycraigy and beyond. With the focus on creativity and learning beyond the classroom our children are inspired to lead within the school community, take risks in our outside extensive space and they feel truly listened to and heard. All our children are visible and can take part on a wide range of experiences to develop them wholistic. We focus on our growth mindset, where mistakes are part of learning.

We want our children to achieve and succeed. This is done through the challenge we provide and our tailored curriculum. We know our children and through a focus on personalized learning we ensure that all our children reach their full protentional academically, socially and emotionally. We ensure our pupils are resilient, independent and self-assured learners and as a staff we support and extend our children throughout their time at school. We encourage creativity and curiosity through purposeful and inspiring learning experiences, so all children are motivated to learn both inside and outside of school.
